International Trade Fair Program for the German games industry

Every year, we monitor international markets and help German game companies connect with potential international partners and showcase their products and services abroad. A key component of this effort is the International Trade Fair Program run by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with AUMA – Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. The program sets up joint booths at international trade fairs and offers significantly more affordable participation options compared to having individual booths. Such a joint booth, better known as German Pavilion, offers not only top-notch conditions but also additional services for a successful trade fair appearance, such as interpretation services and catering.

In recent years, we have organized many different German Pavilions for the German games industry. These have included, but are not limited to, the Tokyo Game Show, the GDC Festival of Gaming (formerly Game Developers Conference) in San Francisco, G-Star Busan, and gamescom asia.

We regularly provide updates on upcoming German Pavilions in our newsletters, member mailings and on LinkedIn. General information about the International Trade Fair Program is available here, and an overview of upcoming German Pavilions for all industries is available here.
