“Games – perfect entertainment” is the theme of gamescom 2025, taking place live in Cologne and online.

As the world’s largest event for computer and video games, gamescom is the global hub for all things gaming. This year’s trends are ‘Games for three generations’ and ‘Blockbuster games to go’ – showcasing everything from shared gaming experiences across all ages to the latest mobile gaming innovations.

The event is also attracting significant political attention: numerous top politicians from EU, federal and state levels are expected to attend, including Federal Minister Dorothee Bär and North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister-President Hendrik Wüst. From 20 to 24 August, Cologne will once again be fully dedicated to gaming.
