Growing out of the film production company Filmbucht Filmproduktion and the interaction design collective peîra, Monokel was founded in 2015 as a unique enterprise to develop and produce feature films, games and transmedia projects under one roof. As producers and developers, we strive to create extraordinary narratives across different forms of media. Our focus is on international co-productions and upcoming German directors, including fiction, feature-length documentaries and games. Our target: to tell stories that fuse relevance and narrative depth with commercial success.
