Dr Christian-Henner Hentsch is the BIU’s new in-house legal adviser

Berlin, 28 January 2016 – Dr Christian-Henner Hentsch (37) is the new in-house legal adviser at the BIU, the German Games Industry Association, as of January 2016. Hentsch is responsible for the association’s legal issues and services and will act as a point of contact for members on all legal questions. He replaces Brigitte Wagner, who is leaving the association at the end of January.

About Dr Christian-Henner Hentsch

After studying law and history in Freiburg and Bonn and working as an articled clerk in Düsseldorf, Washington DC, Frankfurt and Berlin, Hentsch worked for the vice-chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, being responsible for copyright and other commercial law matters. Subsequently, he represented the interests of TV and radio stations and newspaper and magazine publishers for VG Media, the German collecting society. He is also a lecturer at the Cologne Research Centre for Media Law.
