The Frankfurt-based gamearea-HESSEN e. V. advocates for the interests of the computer and video games industry in Frankfurt am Main, the Rhine-Main region and the German state of Hesse. An outgrowth of gamearea-FRM, which was founded in May 2009, gamearea-HESSEN pursues the objective of actively contributing to the ongoing development of the entire state as a centre of digital games and media culture.
